How to Write a Character Monologue and Perform It!

In this guided workshop, you’ll create a character and write a short monologue inspired by your own experiences or imagination. You’ll learn what makes a monologue work, then use a few simple acting tools to bring your words off the page and into the room. Think of a moment like Rocky speaking about never giving up – personal, direct, and powerful. In the final session, there’s an opportunity to share your monologue in a relaxed, supportive setting. Participation is always optional, and you’re welcome to invite friends or family for the final class performances. No experience needed. Class size is limited, register early.
